We
are a group of aviation enthusiasts from Northeastern Ohio with
a passion for building, restoring or caring for aircraft of all
descriptions and flying them whenever the opportunity allows.
Our chapter is one of over 1000 local chapters, in 21 countries,
of the International Experimental Aircraft Association. While
some of our members own and fly home-built aircraft, licensed
by the FAA as "experimental," many others own and fly
fully-certificated, factory-produced airplanes, ranging from antiques
to modern designs. Overall though, we are just a group of men
and women who enjoy the company of kindred spirits who are likewise
fascinated by the beauty, technology and romance of flight, and
neither aircraft ownership nor a pilot's certificate is a requirement
for membership.
